Sandlot star Marty York’s sheriff’s deputy mother is KILLED at her California home, with police now hunting her boyfriend, 54, who they believe killed her
The Sandlot star Marty York has confirmed that his mother was murdered in her California home.
Deanna Esmaeel, a sheriff’s deputy, was found dead in her home in Crescent City, California on Thursday.
“This is the most difficult post I will ever have to write,” York said in a statement.
‘Last night my mother was killed by a man she was seeing. At the moment there is a nationwide search.’
Add: If you have seen this man, please call the police immediately. I can’t even fathom what’s happening right now, but I feel like if I find this person, I’m going to physically tear them apart. I pray to God that I don’t find him, because that would be a fate worse than hell.’
Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office on Friday in hopes of knowing the whereabouts of Esmaeel’s boyfriend, Daniel James Walter.
Investigators have named Walter, who recently changed his name to Edward Patrick Davies, as the suspect in Deanna’s murder. TMZ reports.
Deputies located Walter’s vehicle, but have not yet located the 54-year-old.
Sheriff Scott of the DNSO released a statement following Deputy Esmaeel’s death saying: ‘We are all deeply saddened by the loss of Deputy Esmaeel. Our hearts and prayers go out to her family, friends and co-workers.’
