All signs point to a January 22, 2025 unveiling for the Galaxy S25, the Galaxy S25 Plus, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and possibly the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim. Furthermore, it appears that augmented reality glasses and the Galaxy Ring 2 will be unveiled at the same event.
Phone renders show off updated camera modules
Phone skin company Dbrand has posted a full range of skins and wraps from the Samsung Galaxy S25 series (via 9to5Google), which shows both the cases you can now order for these phones, as well as the phones themselves (or at least the backs of them). They also match up quite well with previously leaked renders.
One of the most noticeable changes from the Samsung Galaxy S24 series are the black bezels around the rear camera lenses – an aesthetic choice apparently borrowed from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. We can also see that the edges of the Galaxy S25 Ultra are becoming increasingly thinner. be more rounded than the current model.
The Galaxy S25 will have more built-in AI
Samsung has already packed a lot of artificial intelligence features into its current phones, and the Galaxy S25 series will be no different when it comes to Galaxy AI: think real-time translations, text generation assistance, AI graphics with a few taps on screen, and much more.

According to tipster @AssembleDebug (via Phandroid), the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will move more AI functions to the local system, reducing reliance on the cloud – meaning faster responses and better privacy for users. This will apparently be made possible by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

We could get a super thin Galaxy S25 Slim
Rumor has it that we’ll be getting a super-thin Galaxy S25 Slim model alongside the other three phones in January, and according to a new leak from @JukanlosreveSamsung will use ALoP technology (All Lenses on Prism) to reduce the camera bump and keep the phone nice and thin.

However, how slim is slim? A previous leak suggests the new model will measure just over 6mm front to back – so that’s significantly thinner than the 7.6mm Galaxy S24 phone. It appears that Samsung will introduce the Galaxy S25 Slim in January along with the three other phones, although it may not go on sale until later this year.
