Sunrise funny Sam Mac, 41, has revealed the real reason why he landed on the guest list for what promises to be the celebrity wedding of the year.
The Channel Seven weather reporter rubbed shoulders with the Hollywood elite last weekend when Aussie Snowboarder Scotty James married billionaire heiress Chloe Stroll.
And it turns out that Scotty is the brother of Sam’s partner, Bec.
Guests at the high-profile wedding in Venice, Italy included Michael Douglas and his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones; Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York and Taylor Hill, a former Victoria’s Secret Angel.
Sam took to Instagram on Thursday to post highlights from the spectacular wedding weekend.

He added a photo of himself posing with his famous stylist girlfriend as he rides in a boat cruising down one of the city’s famous canals.
‘Venice! That’s what we locals call it, been here for 5 days,” he said in the caption, adding, “No we are NOT married – see the Daily Mail articles… but Bec’s little brother did…”
The notorious prankster also added a photo of him looking unusually sweet in a classy tuxedo.
He also added a video of Bec posing in a beautiful black dress.
Some of Sam’s weekend highlights include Margot, the four-month-old daughter he shares with Bec.
In one family snap, the pretty little one can be seen posing with her mum and dad as they take a gondola ride.
There is also a picture of Sam, who looks like a proud father, playing a game with Margot, with the city of Venice in the background.
Sam also included a clip of Margot enjoying a gondola ride with her dad, dressed in pink overalls, with matching sunglasses and blue hat.
There are also photos and videos of the groomsman, including Sam, crammed into an elevator.
It comes after Scotty James, 28, tied the knot with billionaire bride Chloe Stroll, 27, the daughter of F1 Aston Martin team owner Lawrence Stroll, over the weekend.
Daniel Ricciardo, a former Australian F1 driver, was one of the groomsmen.

Chloe is also the sister of F1 driver Lance Stroll, who introduced the couple.
The wedding was a lavish affair as Chloe’s F1 boss father is reportedly worth around $3 billion USD.
Chloe and Scotty got engaged in November 2021 after he got down on one knee in the middle of snow in Switzerland.
Other notable guests include former Australian F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo, who is a groomsman, and Sarah Ferguson.
