The full story behind Michael Clarke’s alleged invitation to his ex Pip Edwards to join him on his upcoming working trip to India is beginning to emerge.
Wild footage leaked on Wednesday of a heated exchange between Clarke and his girlfriend Jade Yarbrough in a public park in Noosa, with Yarbrough accusing the former cricketer, 41, of sleeping with Edwards behind his back on December 17.
Yarbrough, 30, also accused Clarke of texting Edwards, 42, to tell her she was the “love of her life” before inviting her on his visit to India, which is scheduled for next month. .
Little was known about Clarke’s travel plans or upcoming commentary duties before her trip to India was mentioned in the now-infamous video, which was recorded by a shocked bystander on January 10.
If Yarbrough is right and Clarke asked Edwards, co-founder of sportswear brand PE Nation, to accompany him to India, then it would appear that he was looking for company on his business trip.

Clarke’s six-figure commentator role could be in jeopardy after the video leaked, and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is now reviewing his position.
Australia are scheduled to play India in a four Test series from 9 February and Clarke was expected to fly in to be part of the BCCI commentary panel to be heard on Fox Sports.
He had been approached for comment on the first two Tests against Australia, with a rumored payday of $150,000 plus expenses.
But news corporation sources in India are reported to believe Clarke may be blocked by the image-aware BCCI.

Others in the group, including Karl Stefanovic, his partner Jasmine, who is also Jade’s sister, and famous accountant Anthony Bell, try to defuse the fight.

The melee ended with Edwards, and Yarbrough accused Clarke of cheating on her.
The video opens with her yelling at Clarke before slapping and shoving him after the cricketer insists he didn’t cheat on her.
‘I’m wrong? I’m fucking wrong! You are a fucking liar. Ican see everything. You called her,” she yells, apparently referring to the messages between Clarke and Edwards.
Clarke then tries to reassure Yarbrough that she did not leak with Edwards on December 17, saying that she was with Bell that night.

He then swears on the life of his daughter Kelsey Lee that he did not cheat on her, but Yarbrough refuses to believe Clarke’s protests, stating that he spoke to Edwards.

Edwards (left) had none of the drama when she returned to her home in the eastern suburbs Wednesday night. ‘This is not my circus. Once again, Michael in the true nature of him has not taken responsibility for his actions and I was blatantly lied to,” he told Daily Mail Australia.
He appeared to have strained his hamstring in the melee after being pushed to the ground by Yarbrough, as he was seen limping through the public park.
Stefanovic’s wife, Jasmine, finally steps in and grabs her distraught sister by the arm and drags her away.
Jasmine can be heard saying, “Go to Karl, go out to Karl.”
As she is led away, Jade can be heard crying as she turns to Clarke and howls, “I hate you.”

Clarke has since apologized for his role in the Noosa fight, telling the Daily Telegraph that he accepted full responsibility for the incident and that his actions tore him apart.
I am absolutely heartbroken, I have put people I hold in the highest regard in this position. My actions in the lead up to this altercation were nothing short of shameful and regrettable,” he told the publication on Wednesday.
“I am devastated that by my actions I have brought women of class and integrity, and my peers, into this situation.”

Meanwhile, Edwards had none of the drama when he returned home to the eastern suburbs on Wednesday night after attending Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road concert at Allianz Stadium in Moore Park.
