The Real Love Boat finishes with just 98,000 viewers

The Real Love Boat has been an unmitigated disaster for Channel 10.

After declining ratings during the first season, the reality series closed with a measly 98,000 viewers.

According to TV Tonight, it was surpassed by World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys on SBS which brought in 117,000 viewers.

In the final, Moana and Harley were crowned the winners, after Hannah Ferrier and Daniel Doody had to vote for which couple they thought formed the strongest bond.

The couple walked away with a luxury cruise thanks to Princess Cruises and $5,000 spending money each.

It’s unclear if the people are still dating since filming wrapped, but they’ve unfollowed each other on social media.

Moana reflected on her experience on the show in a lengthy Instagram post on Friday, but didn’t mention Harley at all.

“I know it sounds so weird to say but god damn this show has helped me grow as a person so much,” she wrote.

“I never thought something like this would have such a big impact on my life, but here we are. I am lucky enough to have met some absolute legends on and off screen, I will be forever grateful for all the new people who have come into my life since the beginning of this journey.”

The brunette also admitted that her mental health was “not the best” before joining the show.

“The whole experience really makes you dive deep into yourself and really forces you to build a solid foundation of who you are and what you believe in,” she explained.

It probably sounds dramatic and over the top, but you’re really being tested on this whole experience and put in a pressure cooker. But yes, they do say that the rarest diamonds are made under great pressure.’

Moana thanked the cast and crew, but did not mention Harley.

The US version of The Real Love Boat on CBS was also a ratings disaster.

The series, hosted by Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell, was bridged to the Paramount+ streaming service after TV bombing.
