Rachel shared the moment her mother and father remarried in a viral video, which has been viewed more than 6.3 million times to date.
In the clip, Scott and Julie were seen sharing a kiss while their two daughters celebrated.
Rachel captioned the video: “War is over! Our parents have officially remarried and we are no longer divorced children.
“Successful Parent Trap.”
In another video, Julie and Scott were seen messing around, causing the 24-year-old to remember the days when they didn't speak to each other.
She said: 'If you had told me ten years ago that my divorced parents would be living together again and having the craziest time of their lives, I would never have believed you.'
While their situation isn't exactly the same as that of The Parent Trap (the 1998 remake starred a young Lindsay Lohan), in which twin sisters scheme to get their divorced parents back together, many people compared it to the movie.
Julie and Scott split in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2018 after their relationship “deteriorated,” they said Business insider.
The couple were no longer friends after they split and their relationship was 'contentious'.
However, after several tragic deaths occurred in the family, the two found each other again.
In 2020, Scott's mother died and Julie rushed to the hospital to be there for him.
Six months later, Scott's father and his father's best friend died and once again Julie stayed by his side.
Julie told the outlet that the death of Scott's family was a “moment” for her.
'Family is all that matters. Nothing else,” she said.
“When everything you thought you would have is taken away and you get it back, I wake up feeling grateful every day.”
Julie and Scott subsequently rekindled their relationship, and Scott proposed in 2022.
Caroline told the outlet that her parents were now having more “fun” than ever.
