The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 15 is ‘on ice’ and ‘likely won’t resume filming until 2025’ – as Andy Cohen reveals show may get ‘reboot’

It all comes to a close when The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 finale airs on August 4, followed by the alternate reunion airing the following week.

Filming began in August 2023, but the new season, season 15, “will likely not resume filming until 2025,” a source has exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com.

‘Decisions about what will and won’t happen with the show won’t be made until early next year.’

The source continued, “There will be no more filming for RHONJ for the rest of the year. There’s nothing planned. It’s on ice.”

The current cast includes Teresa Giudice, Jennifer Aydin, Dolores Catania, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Danielle Cabral and Rachel Fuda, as well as her friends Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler.

“Everyone is anxiously waiting to see what happens,” the source said, adding that rumors that some actors have already been fired are “not true.”

“The cast for the new season won’t be determined anytime soon. Casting isn’t something Bravo is getting into. It won’t take shape until next year.”

The insider added, “However, there are some cast members who are less likely to return than others based on certain events that unfolded this past season. But for two or three cast members, it could be over for good.”

DailyMail.com has learned that names of new cast members are already circulating in the Garden State.

“Bravo is actively looking for new housewives, not just in NJ, but for their other franchises as well. They are always looking for new talent to help drive ratings.”

The final episode of RHONJ reportedly drew 589,000 viewers, which is a “new low.”

When asked for a reason why everything was on hold, the source said, “I think they don’t know what to do. They don’t know what to do because it’s almost like a puzzle where you’re trying to put the pieces together that make sense.

“And there are very few pieces of the puzzle that make sense to viewers right now.”

Meanwhile, a second source revealed to DailyMail.com that Andy Cohen (pictured in June 2024) is ‘not ruling anything out’ when it comes to what happens next

Meanwhile, a second source told DailyMail.com that Andy Cohen is ‘not ruling anything out’ going forward.

“There could be a cast reshuffle with only a few cast members returning, the show could be rebooted, or RHONJ could be canceled altogether. Nothing is possible at this point,” the insider said.

‘Bravo has not yet announced a timetable for resuming filming because literally no one knows what will happen and it will take some time before we determine the next steps.’

DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for Bravo for comment.

RHONJ OG Teresa Giudice (seen in 2022), who recently said she will “never again” film with her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa Gorga, told DailyMail.com she will follow Bravo’s orders and “do whatever Bravo wants me to do”

During the July 29 segment of Andy’s Live radio show for SiriusXM, the Housewives producer revealed that the cast may be getting “some new faces.”

After a caller complained about the current season, Andy, 56, interrupted: “We’re rebooting the show.”

“We’re going to reboot it,” Cohen added. “We’re going to do something different.”

The caller continued to tout Teresa’s presence on the show, before Andy appeared to wrap up his tirade.

“Okay, okay. Okay, we’ll see what we do. We’ll see,” the seemingly exasperated Watch What Happens Live host said as he ended the call.

“I don’t know. Maybe just all fresh faces. We’ll see,” he concluded.

Two days later, Andy clarified his viral comments after shocking viewers with his remark that a “reboot” was coming.

“I was just riffing,” the Radio Andy presenter admitted. “We’re going to re-imagine the show in some way, and I just thought, Yeah, we’re going to start again. … Who knows? Maybe it’ll be all fresh faces. And that was just because I felt like it.”

He went on to say that it was “not new news” and said, “I didn’t say definitively that it would be all new faces.”

Meanwhile, RHONJ OG Teresa Giudice, who recently said she will “never film” with her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa Gorga again, told DailyMail.com that she will follow Bravo’s orders and “do whatever Bravo wants me to do.”

“They’re the boss. Bravo’s the boss,” the 52-year-old confessed. “So, whatever they want, and I’m not going to walk away until they want me to walk away.”
