An insider revealed that the traditional reunion for the fourteenth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey has been canceled due to cast drama.
The popular reality show – whose cast members are reportedly using Ozempic for weight loss according to housewives rumors – is flipping the script for the first time in program history.
An insider said PEOPLE“A reunion is meant to find resolution and in the season finale it’s clear that there is no way forward in those kinds of circumstances.”
“So the network is coming up with a different concept to wrap up the season,” the source familiar with the situation told the outlet.
The news comes amid simmering tensions between housewives Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda, Jackie Goldschneider and Jenn Fessler.

The news comes amid simmering tensions between housewives Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda, Jackie Goldschneider and Jenn Fessler
The source says the ongoing drama between the cast members is the cause of the rift that led to the RHONJ having divided panels at BravoCon for the past two years.
Another insider said PEOPLE that Bravo has yet to make a decision on the further development of RHONJ.
“Anything and everything is on the table,” the insider admitted, noting that “all options are being discussed and nothing official has been decided about the show yet.”
Cast members point fingers at each other while Rachel’s husband John Fuda tells the newspaper, “The damaging lies… are not rooted in reality.”
Previews for the final season show the Fudas’ ongoing feud with Teresa and her husband Luis.
In another episode clip, we see John calling Teresa “the example of mortgage fraud.” And he said, ‘If my money needs to be laundered, I’ll call you!’
The outlet reported last September that Jennifer and Danielle were “suspended from filming for several days” due to an altercation on set.
During the pre-recorded finale, the co-stars were seen insulting each other with a glass jug thrown during their insult.
While appearing on Wednesday’s episode of SherriHousewife Melissa Gorga said she is instead choosing to focus on her fitness regimen to shed pounds while her co-stars take Ozempic.
“I train really, really hard,” she told talk show host Sherri Shepherd. ‘To each their own, but no, I won’t accept that.’
She added that she is “glad” that her co-stars are taking the diabetes drug, which is popularly used by Hollywood elites for weight loss, to “feel good” and “look good.”
