The Project’s Sarah Harris cuts a casual figure as she picks up home renovation supplies in Sydney

The Project presenter Sarah Harris looked very relaxed on Sunday as she went to pick up some supplies for the renovation.

The 43-year-old looked ready for a day of DIY as she hit the streets for her weekend shopping spree.

Sarah wore a black sweater with the word ‘lover’ on it as she shopped at a store in Sydney.

She completed her outfit with black sports leggings and a pair of black sneakers.

Sarah wore her hair in a ponytail and protected it from the wind with a matching New York Yankees baseball cap.

It appeared the TV presenter was preparing for a weekend of work on a home renovation project.

A quick visit to the local hardware store proved successful: Sarah was spotted on the street with her groceries.

She grabbed a broom, some wood varnish and brushes and indicated that she planned to paint a small project.

The sighting comes after Sarah recently admitted on The Project that she once dropped her microphone in the toilet seconds before she was due to go live on the radio.

“I dropped my microphone in the toilet a few minutes before I stood in for the Queen, Sandra Sully, for the first time and read the news in Sydney,” Sarah explained.

“I had five minutes to go to the bathroom and I had these microphones on and was busy doing my last nervous pee before the news started,” she continued.

“I dropped my pants and heard a pop, pop,” Sarah said, realizing to her horror that she had dropped her microphone pack in the toilet.

“I wrapped it in toilet paper, pulled my pants back up, left my pants unbuttoned, and ran outside.”

Her crew was less than impressed, explaining, “Audio is yelling at me. I’m like, ‘Can I put this in rice or something?’ They said you have to guess.”

Fortunately, things turned out well for Sarah and, despite her panic, the live crossing went ahead as planned.

Sarah also left her Project colleagues red-faced in May after sharing a rather spicy fact.

After a Telstra segment reported laying off 2,800 employees in favor of AI, Kate Langbroek joked that robots will soon do everything for humans.

“When you come home, you’ll find a female robot in bed with your husband!” she joked.

“I don’t have a husband!” Sarah replied, to which Kate clarified, “You’re getting a robot husband!”

“I will,” Sarah joked back, to which Kate, stunned, realized a few seconds later that she knew and exclaimed, “Oh! Oh! Wow.”

“Well, it’s not a robot, but it does work via USB,” Sarah continued, referring to a sex toy.

Her fellow players burst out laughing and exclaimed in shock, “Is that in case we missed it the first time?”
