The Project’s Hamish Macdonald shocks co-hosts when he discovers a secret stash of wet G-strings in the bedroom
The Project host Hamish Macdonald shocked his co-stars on Sunday when he recalled discovering a stash of wet G-strings.
The TV presenter, 42, was discussing his experiences living in shared accommodation with Sarah Harris, Michael Hing and Susie Youssef, when he remembered a friend moving into the spare bedroom.
“When she left, our breakfast bowls all disappeared,” Hamish began perplexedly.
‘Months later my mother came to stay and I went to make the bed in the spare room. As I tucked in the sheets, I noticed a breakfast bowl under the bed.
“All our bowls were there. I pulled them out and each bowl contained a puddle of water and a G-string. She used them to wet her underwear,’ he finished.

Hamish’s co-hosts were shocked by the shocking story and were quick to voice their opinions.
‘Wow. Breakfast of champions,” Sarah Harris quipped, while Michael Hing said, “That story didn’t go the way I thought it would. I thought it might have old corn flakes in it.’
In May, Hamish married his longtime partner Jacob Fitzroy, and his Project co-stars shared the announcement.
Jacob first appeared on Hamish’s Instagram account in April 2019, but it is believed that the couple had been a couple for a while before going public.
Hamish has said he was overwhelmed by the positive response he received after publicly coming out as gay in 2018.
The couple first fueled rumors that they were engaged or secretly married in late 2021.

Hamish has been extremely private with his personal life after quitting social media in mid-2020.
The former Q&A presenter confirmed his romance with Jacob when they proudly held hands at the GQ Gentlemen’s Ball in Melbourne in 2019.
Hamish was previously moved to tears when he described his special relationship with Jacob.
“He’s my best friend and I feel extremely lucky that we can share our lives together,” he said on The Project.
