The Project viewers slam Kerri-Anne Kennerley for ‘lying’ about what really happened on I’m A Celeb
Kerri-Anne Kennerley has insisted she should have completed Thursday night’s tucker trial on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! asking her to consume a series of animal testicles.
But viewers aren’t convinced the TV legend is telling the truth, with several criticizing her account of the drama leading to a clash with Domenica Calarco of Married At First Sight.
The TV star appeared on The Project on Friday night, where she said she would have completed the challenge if Dom had done the same.
“If Dom had finished that or started and finished that, I would have done it,” said Kerri-Anne.
‘I could have done it. The boys, they went right in. If Dom had done it, I would have done it. I would never have let those three down — no doubt about it.’

Many who watched the interview disagreed with Kerri-Anne’s version of events, and several posted their thoughts on Twitter.
“KAK lied about what happened, she forgot we saw it all,” one wrote.
KAK is still lying about the project, she has refused from the beginning that she would not do the trials. Own the KAK. Very disappointing,” said another.
‘Wow. WOW. Isn’t it easy to say, ‘I would have eaten them if Dom had finished eating’. Lies lies lies! She probably just canceled herself,” it sounded again.
‘She still lied. And surprise surprise, gentle questions from The Project,” someone else tweeted.

She literally said when they announced her name for the trial that she wasn’t going to do it. All the celebrities tried to talk her into it and she was adamant,” another wrote.
She remained so throughout the trial. Now to gaslight Dom and outright lie and say she would have participated is bull,” they added.
Hard to believe she or her advisers/publicists thought this was a good idea. Probably good for Ch 10 – I hope she got a bunch of money for doing so much damage to her public image,” said another.
“They asked KAK if Dom was ready, if she would do it and she said no. Dom also took a bite of the last one and kept it down, so maybe she would have if she had gotten support from KAK’ another tweet.

In the challenge, a tennis racket was spun in the middle of a table, and whoever it landed on had to eat one of the jungle treats.
At the end of the challenge, the team was offered 13 stars if they all ate the ball of a kudu, a type of large antelope.

But Kerri-Anne was having none of it, even after the celebs told her it “tastes just like meatballs” and “wasn’t that bad.”
This caused Dom to see red after she took a bite and Kerri-Anne refused.
“Miss big contract lady, ‘Can’t tell me what to do.’ I don’t want you (makeup), I don’t want your Revlon 1989 lipstick, pop,” she raged.
“It’s not fair — it’s not fair to anyone who actually tries. Why are you here, brother? Legit, actually, why are you here?!’
She then accused the Studio 10 star of having no respect or decency for anyone but herself.
“Literally no respect or decency for anyone but yourself. I’ve never met anyone so self-centered in my life,’ Dom continued.
When she returned to camp, Kerri-Anne said Dom’s “abuse” was “overwhelming.”

“To be called the most self-centered bitch she’s ever met. And again and again the contract queen. i would be ready [the challenge], if she would have ended. It would never happen,” she said in tears.
Angered at having to do three trials in a row, Kerri-Anne told her campmates she was leaving.
“I made a choice, it was a difficult choice. Because I’d like to stay. But it’s never going to work. I thought it was very unfair. I have three tests in a row,’ she said.
“So not against my better judgement, because it is my better judgment that I go.”
Kerri-Anne then famously said, “So, I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here!”

“It was pretty clear that Kerri-Anne wasn’t going to try,” Dom explained.
“I don’t apologize for the way I felt during the situation. I think I could have spoken better,’ she continued.
“But the lack of team effort and support at the time was completely selfish. It felt like, what are you even doing here?
“I don’t know why she didn’t say the words before we started the task. I thought it was a shame she never tried to eat the ball.’
