The Project viewers slam Kerri-Anne Kennerley for ‘lying’ about what really happened on I’m A Celeb

Kerri-Anne Kennerley has insisted she should have completed Thursday night’s tucker trial on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! asking her to consume a series of animal testicles.

But viewers aren’t convinced the TV legend is telling the truth, with several criticizing her account of the drama leading to a clash with Domenica Calarco of Married At First Sight.

The TV star appeared on The Project on Friday night, where she said she would have completed the challenge if Dom had done the same.

“If Dom had finished that or started and finished that, I would have done it,” said Kerri-Anne.

‘I could have done it. The boys, they went right in. If Dom had done it, I would have done it. I would never have let those three down — no doubt about it.’

Many who watched the interview disagreed with Kerri-Anne’s version of events, and several posted their thoughts on Twitter.

The TV veteran’s time on the series came to an end after just four days in the South African jungle.

The drama unfolded when Kerri-Anne and Domenica along with former Australian Idol judge Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson and radio presenter Woody Whitelaw took part in an eating challenge, where they had to eat several animal testicles to win the dinner for the rest of the competition . group.

In the challenge, a tennis racket was spun in the middle of a table, and whoever it landed on had to eat one of the jungle treats.

At the end of the challenge, the team was offered 13 stars if they all ate the ball of a kudu, a type of large antelope.

But Kerri-Anne was having none of it, even after the celebs told her it “tastes just like meatballs” and “wasn’t that bad.”

This caused Dom to see red after she took a bite and Kerri-Anne refused.
