The Project: Sarah Harris puts on a brave face during her weekly commute to work
The Project presenter Sarah Harris puts on a brave face during her weekly trip to Melbourne, after claiming she is “struggling” with the trip amid the show’s dismal ratings.
She has been captaining the sinking ship that is The Project since January.
And Sarah Harris put on a brave face on Monday as she traveled from Sydney to Melbourne to present the beleaguered Channel 10 talk show for another week.
The 41-year-old mother of two, who experts say is ‘struggling’ with her weekly interstate commute, seemed lost in thought as she pushed her suitcase through the terminal.
She didn’t smile until she realized that she had been seen by the paparazzi.
The former Studio 10 host dressed down for her flight in a black T-shirt, dark blue jeans and a Burberry trench coat worth about $5,000.

Sarah wore no makeup and tucked her blonde hair under a red New York Yankees baseball cap.
The sighting comes after Channel 10 insiders revealed that Sarah was tired of the ‘newness’ of traveling every week from Sydney to Melbourne, where The Project is filmed from Sunday to Thursday.
Ten’s headquarters in Pyrmont is apparently abuzz with talk about the time the single mother is away from her sons Paul, six, and Harry, four, is “taking its toll”.

Sarah, who split from husband Tom Ward in 2021, is believed to have recently re-signed a new long-term contract with Ten.
He joined the prime-time panel show this year, following the departures of regular hosts Carrie Bickmore, Pete Helliar and Lisa Wilkinson at the end of 2022.
But the new lineup, which includes former ABC sportscaster Georgie Tunny and former Triple J announcer Michael Hing along with host Waleed Aly, is off to a rocky start.

Earlier this month it was revealed that The Project had lost nearly a third of its national audience in 12 months.
The show also hit an all-time low of just 270,000 viewers recently.
The dismal start to 2023 for the left-leaning current affairs show added to internal unrest at Ten after a year of horror of falling market share and the shock defection of Dr Chris Brown to Channel Seven this month.
The sighting comes after Channel 10 pundits said Sarah was tired of the “newness” of traveling every week from Sydney to Melbourne, where The Project is filmed from Sunday to Thursday.
There is also speculation that I am a celebrity… Get me out of here! co-host Julia Morris will follow him out the door.
Sarah was reportedly heartbroken to see her friend, Dr. Chris Brown, leave, as the pair had become close friends after working for Ten for years.
“Chris and Sarah are a match made in TV heaven,” said a television informant New Idea. ‘Theythey have great chemistry and have worked well together in the past.’
