Michael Hing made a very snappy comment that left his co-hosts stunned during Friday’s episode of The Project.
The comedian was chatting with venom expert Bryan Fry, who discussed different types of painful stings from the poisonous creatures in Australia.
When asked which animal he would be at risk of being stung by, Michael gave a surprisingly candid – and snappy – answer.
“I would choose jellyfish… because I want to get screwed,” he joked.
Hoping for laughs from his co-stars, Michael was instead met with an awkward silence, before they broke into awkward giggling.

The panel quickly changed the subject, leaving Michael red-faced.
It’s not the first time one of his jokes has backfired on air, with Michael stepping forward last week to admit he had attempted to brew his own alcoholic drinks at home.
The 38-year-old joked that his favorite brew – vodka – was “probably illegal”.
Michael’s surprising revelation came during a segment about next month’s tax increase, which will drive up the price of beer and liquor.
Panelist Nick Cody suggested that as the cost of a pint of beer is set to rise to an average of $12, many drinkers could turn to ‘home brewing’ to save money.
After Nick admitted that he had tried to brew beer in his bathtub, co-host Susie Youssef asked Michael if he had ever tried it.

“I drank crack to make vodka,” he said, adding, “It might have been illegal.”
Currently, it is legal to distill spirits at home, although “home brewers” of spirits must be licensed.
Michael joined the line-up of the Australian current affairs show The Project at the end of last year.
He left Triple J last year after three years hosting the radio station’s popular drive show, Hobba and Hing, alongside Lewis Hobba.
Michael is also the former host of the ABC programs Good Game: Pocket Edition and Good Game Well Played.
In August, the popular celebrity married his sweetheart Humyara Mahbub in a Bengali ceremony at Sydney Harbour.
The couple looked stunning in traditional attire as they exchanged vows by the water, surrounded by family and friends.
