The son of a former Premier League star scored on his debut for Manchester City in the UEFA Youth League on Tuesday, scoring from the penalty spot in his side’s 3-0 win over Young Boys.
The 15-year-old youngster put City’s U19s ahead in the ninth minute of the group match, before first-half goals from Mahamadou Susoho Sissoho and Matthew Henderson-Hall put the match beyond the Swiss side.
The teenager, who was a striker like his father, showed great composure and accuracy as he drilled his penalty into the bottom right corner.
His father played for the likes of Leicester, Liverpool and Aston Villa during his playing career and also made more than 50 appearances for England.
The youngster played in attack alongside his older brother, 17, who has a dozen caps at youth level for the Manchester club.

Man City’s new young star is the son of former England hitman Emile Heskey, who scored more than 100 goals in the Premier League during his career.
Reigan Heskey, 15, is an exciting new star coming through the ranks at Manchester City, while brother Jaden is two years older and a regular captain of the academy’s U18 side.
Manchester City has a history of generating new young talent, having recently boosted the careers of England international Phil Foden and promising Chelsea star Cole Palmer.
Heskey Snr, 45, started his career in Leicester’s youth academy before making more than 150 appearances for the club. He won the League Cup twice in 1997 and 2000 for King Power.

The forward left the Foxes to join Liverpool in the summer of 2000 and enjoyed further trophy success, winning a further two League Cups (2001 and 2003), an FA Cup (2001) alongside Ballon d’Or winner Michael Owen and claimed the UEFA Cup in 2001. on attack.
After leaving Anfield in 2004, he played for Birmingham, Wigan and Aston Villa before moving to Australia and joining Newcastle Jets in 2012.
His playing career ended in 2016 at Bolton Wanderers, where he made 45 appearances.
Now, from August 2023, Heskey Snr is youth coach for the England U18 side.
