The Pixel Buds Pro are rumored to be getting two new colors to match the Pixel 8

The next big reveal of new Pixel hardware is officially scheduled for Wednesday, October 4, and it looks like we’ll be treated to two new colors for the Pixel Buds Pro in addition to new smartphones and a new smartwatch.

This is according to tipster Para Guglani And 9to5Googleboth of whom say Porcelain and Sky Blue colors will soon be added to the four existing shades you can get the Pixel Buds Pro in: Charcoal, Lemongrass, Fog and Coral.

These colors are apparently making their debut to match two of the Pixel 8 Pro’s colors. You may recall that a Google promo video was recently leaked showing the Pixel 8 Pro in what we now assume is a sky blue hue.

And we’ve seen Porcelain too, it seems: earlier this week an image was discovered on the online Google Store showing the Pixel 8 Pro in Porcelain (and also gave us a glimpse of what we assume is the Pixel Watch 2 is).

Pixel Buds Pro past and future

Launched in late July 2022, the Pixel Buds Pro were Google’s first with active noise cancellation. They’re still Google’s flagship earbuds, and at the time of writing they’re available for $199.99 / £199 / AU$199 from Google’s own store.

This will be the first time the Pixel Buds Pro get new colors since they debuted, but it’s not a complete surprise: hidden references to other shades, including porcelain, are spotted earlier in the companion app.

Everything should be revealed on October 4. Then Google will almost certainly unveil the flagship smartphones Google Pixel 8 and Google Pixel 8 Pro, both of which have been extensively leaked in recent months.

It seems like a good bet that the Google Pixel Watch 2 will also appear. TechRadar will of course cover the event live and bring you all the announcements as Google does them.
