The perfect gift for stock tips! Nancy Pelosi will release a MEMOIR on her role as the first female speaker of the House of Representatives in history

Nancy Pelosi has completed a new memoir about her time as the first female Speaker of the House of Representatives in American history.

The memoir is titled ‘The Art of Power’ and will be released on August 6, according to publisher Simon & Schuster.

It will chronicle the 84-year-old Democrats’ nearly 40-year tenure in government, from her election to the House of Representatives in 1987, through her two stints as Speaker of the House of Representatives and her career as Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Social media users were quick to wonder if it would include stock trading advice from the prolific investor.

According to Quiver Quantitive, a financial data company that tracks stock trading in Congress, Pelosi’s wealth has exploded in recent years. The group now estimates that Pelosi is worth $190 million.

In 2024 alone, Pelosi traded at least $3.9 million worth of stock, according to Quiver.

“Gives them stock market tips in this book,” one user posted on X. “(That’s) what we all really want to know.”

“How many pages are dedicated to her insider trading and turning her $150,000 salary into a nine-figure net worth via YOLO tech call options,” another user wrote.

Someone else suggested an alternate book title for the new memoir: “The Art of Insider Trading – How I Made More Than Even the Best Investors Using the Confidential Information I Learned in Congress.”

“I expected a book where she would reveal her secrets about insider trading and how to become a multi-millionaire while working for the government all your life,” another post said.

“We have been collecting and sharing data on stock trading by politicians for the past several years, and recently started building bots that mimic stock trading by various members of Congress,” Quiver Quantitive co-founder Christopher Kardatzke told DailyMail.com.

“Our ‘Nancy Pelosi Strategy’ is up over 60% last year,” he said.

“Pelosi’s portfolio is off to a fast start in 2024, with Nvidia shares up more than 75 percent so far this year,” Kardatzke continued, adding, “Pelosi bought $5 million worth of Nvidia in November— call options.’

In fact, Pelosi’s stock trading has attracted so much attention that Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., introduced the Preventing Elected Leaders from Owning Securities and Investments (PELOSI) Act in 2023 to ban lawmakers from trading stocks while in office.

“For too long, politicians in Washington have abused the economic system they write the rules by turning profits for themselves at the expense of the American people,” Hawley said at the time.

“As members of Congress, both senators and representatives are tasked with overseeing the same companies they invest in, yet they continually buy and sell stocks, outperforming the market every time.”

“While Wall Street and Big Tech work hand-in-hand with elected officials to enrich each other, hardworking Americans are paying the price. The solution is clear: we must immediately and permanently ban all members of Congress from trading in stocks.”

Still, the question of whether the book will contain stock trading tips has yet to be answered.

However, the book announcement did say that the memoir will reveal “how she came to terms with Trump, leading up to January 6, 2021, when he unleashed his post-election wrath on Congress.”

It also explains more about the man who “viciously attacked her beloved husband, Paul,” and “the traumatic aftermath for her and her family.”

Pelosi’s office did not return a request for comment.
