The Pentagon is releasing images of unexplained UFOs spotted around the world – from a spherical object in the Middle East to a milk bottle-like object over the US.

The Pentagon has long been secretive about what it knows about UFOs.

But that all changes now that the ministry has added an incredible selection of videos to its dedicated UFO website.

The clips, some of which last only a few seconds, show aerial phenomena that cannot be explained, in all shapes and sizes.

They include a spherical object over buildings in the Middle East, a milk bottle-like object over the US and the famous Tic Tac captured by the US Navy in 2004.

The videos are published on the new website of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO)a special UFO department established in July 2022 under the Ministry of Defense (the ‘Pentagon’).

The site has already revealed the world’s UFO ‘hotspots’, where the most sightings have been made and the most commonly reported physical UFO features.

FLYING SAUCER

In popular culture, UFOs are commonly depicted as flying saucers – circular disks that emit halos of light.

They don’t all look like this; according to the AARO, the commonly reported UFO is even spherical.

But an object captured in South Asia in January 2023 gives an idea of what the classic saucer actually looks like.

In the nine-second clip, the round object flies from left to right across the screen at what appears to be high speed.

A silhouette of an unmanned aerial vehicle on the left of the photo appears to be moving relatively slower.

The video starts with a clear shot of the sky, with the exception of an unmanned aerial vehicle on the left

This was one of the clips that AARO Director Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick presented to the Senate Armed Services Committee in April 2023 — but the agency believes there is an innocent explanation.

“AARO assesses that the object is likely a commercial aircraft and that the cavitation is a sensor artifact resulting from video compression,” it says.

BOL #1

The following clip was taken in July 2022 by an MQ-9 unmanned aircraft in the Middle East.

The vehicle’s camera is pointed toward the ground, with buildings and people in view.

Suddenly, an “apparently silver, sphere-like object” crosses the sensor’s field of view.

The MQ-9’s camera detects the orb and tracks it as it flies in a northeasterly direction, apparently quite close to the ground.

The agency makes a ruling: “Although AARO determines that the object in the clip does not exhibit abnormal behavior, the object remains unidentified.”

“This video is representative of many of the cases AARO receives where there is limited data on observation.”

BOL #2

This UFO, captured at an undisclosed location in 2021, shows a similar-looking orb from the cockpit of a Navy fighter jet.

The plane flies calmly through the blue sky before the object suddenly bursts past the right side of the cockpit.

The fleeting pass is an event you will miss and leaves little time for interpretation of what it could be.

AARO says: ‘This video, taken by the pilot in the cockpit of a Navy fighter jet, demonstrates the typical speed at which military aircraft can approach an unknown object.’

TIC TAC

The original ‘Tic Tac’ is probably one of the most famous UFOs of all.

Named for its physical resemblance to the elongated breathing coin, it was captured in November 2004 by pilots aboard a US Navy fighter jet.

The pilots were conducting a routine training mission with the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz off the coast of Southern California when they noticed this.

The smooth, white, elongated object flew across the water at high speed, maneuvering and accelerating in ways that seemed to defy the laws of physics.

“It seemed to react in a way that we didn’t recognize,” Navy Lt. Commander Alex Dietrich, one of those on board, told Reuters in 2021.

She added that it appeared there were no “visible control surfaces or means of propulsion.”

“We don’t know what it was, but it could have been a natural phenomenon in human activity,” she said.

“But the thing was, it was weird and we couldn’t recognize it.”

Other members of the public have since spotted Tic Tac-shaped UFOs in the sky, including people in Britain.

MILK BOTTLE

This UFO, also captured by the US Navy, can only be described as a ‘milk bottle’ or a bowling pin.

As the video shows, Navy personnel have a clear view of the object as it moves quietly at an angle to the clouds below.

However, as he moves further, his shape appears to become more of a saucer and his silhouette changes from white to black.

It is unclear when and where this clip was recorded, although it has been on the internet since 2020 or possibly earlier before it was added to the AARO site.

MailOnline has contacted the AARO for more information.

FAST SPECK

Little is known about the final clip, which shows a small white dot traveling quickly over choppy waters at an undisclosed location.

The photo was taken by the crew aboard a US Navy F/A-18 jet, who laughed and shouted in surprise as the system’s trackers focused on it.

One crew member says, “What the fuck is that?”

UFO stands for ‘unidentified flying object’ and so the term does not necessarily describe an object of extraterrestrial origin.

This means that there could be an innocent explanation for all the objects in these videos.

AARO uses the term ‘unidentified abnormal phenomenon’largely because ‘UFO’ is often associated with conspiracy theories and paranoia (e.g the ‘time traveler’ who claims an alien invasion will occur).

The world’s UFO hotspots are revealed – Pentagon admits hundreds of objects have been spotted ‘around the world’

The US government is notoriously secretive when it comes to sharing its knowledge of extraterrestrial life.

But in a possible push for transparency, the Department of Defense has released a new document revealing the ‘UFO hotspots around the world’.

It includes a map showing where the most sightings of unidentified objects have been recorded, based on reports between 1996 and 2023.

Including Nagasaki and Hiroshima in Japan, the east and west coasts of the US, including California, and parts of the Middle East.

Another remote mountain village in Japan has already been described as a hotspot for mysterious sightings.
