The Parent Trap’s Lisa Ann Walter reveals her real twins have the SAME birthday as the movie sisters
The Parent Trap actress Lisa Ann Walter reveals her real-life twins have the SAME birthday as the sisters played by Lindsay Lohan in the film
The Parent Trap actress Lisa Ann Walter revealed that she gave birth to her own twins on the exact same day the divorced siblings from the movie were born.
Lindsay Lohan starred in the 1998 version of The Parent Trap as twins, Hallie and Annie, who were born on October 11.
After their parents divorce, the twins are raised separately, one by their father in California and another with their mother in London.
Lisa Ann, who played the American sister’s nanny, has twin sons in real life — and their birthdays eerily happen on October 11, too.
Appears on the Hi Jinks! podcast, Lisa Ann said she called the film’s director, Nancy Meyers, and joked, “What have you done to me?”

She further noted that her twins are identical, just like the ones in the movie. “I mean, it’s weird!” she exclaimed to Jinkx Monsoon, the podcast’s drag queen host.
Lindsay became a nationally beloved child star in The Parent Trap, which marked her feature film debut and was released when she had just turned 12.
The film was a remake of a 1961 film of the same name, which in turn was based on the 1949 German novel Lisa and Lottie.
In the 1998 version, the parents are played by Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson amidst a cast that includes Elaine Hendrix, Simon Kunz, and Maggie Wheeler.
For the first 11 years of their lives, each of the twins has no idea the other exists because the information has been hidden from them by their parents.
However, they coincidentally end up at the same summer camp and forge a bond that deepens when they realize they are sisters.
They then devise a mischievous plan to try and get their parents back together, laying the “parent trap” that gives the film its title.
Lisa Ann and Elaine play bitter enemies in the movie, but in real life they have had a long-lasting close friendship with each other.
