The Owl House ending is nigh and I am not ready

The Owl House ends much sooner than we’d like, with the final episode airing on April 8. A new teaser shows what teenage witch Luz and her friends are up against – including the childish yet all-powerful Collector and the sinister Emperor Belos, who now uses his creepy necromantic body to take over others! Pleasure!

The new episode is called ‘Watching and Dreaming’ and is the last of three specials covering the third and final season of The Owl House. The show ran for two full seasons on the Disney Channel, but when it came time to be renewed for a third, it only got an abbreviated episode order. The reasons for the shortened season three are unclear, as the show has received critical acclaim and large viewership.

The Owl House follows a brave misfit named Luz who accidentally ends up in the Boiling Isles, a realm populated by demons and witches. Kooky witch Eda takes Luz under her wing. Along the way, Luz befriends several other young witches and eventually discovers Emperor Belos’s sinister plan. So far, the shortened third season has been great, with a great balance of character moments and plot-driving action sequences. But all good things come to an end. It’s just sad to see it coming so soon.

The last episode (ever!!!!!!!) of The Owl House airs on Disney Channel on April 8 at 9:25am EDT. The episode will be available on YouTube very soon after at 10:30 PM PDT. All other episodes are currently available on Disney Plus.
