The OnePlus 13 has already appeared in an unboxing video, even though it hasn’t been announced yet

OnePlus won’t fully reveal the OnePlus 13 until October 31, but before that it’s been teasing the phone extensively, and today we see perhaps its biggest teaser yet, in the form of an unboxing video.

Shared on the Sparrows News YouTube channelthe video – which you can see below – is reportedly official. At least, that’s something GSMArena claims, but since we don’t speak Chinese and can’t see it on OnePlus’ social channels, that’s hard to verify.

In any case, it looks like we’re seeing a real OnePlus 13 here. Out of the box, we can see that this device has 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The phone itself has a white tint, but since OnePlus has already shown off the design of the OnePlus 13, there isn’t much new to see in terms of design.

That said, you can take a closer look at the display, which appears to have small curves on the edges, joining the ranks of leaks that indicate the OnePlus 13 would have a micro-curved display. But the curves are so small that it is essentially flat.

However, in this video the OnePlus 13 is also turned on, showing it running the ColorOS 15 Android launcher – although international versions will almost certainly use OxygenOS instead.

Sufficient power and a large battery

There’s not much else to see here, but based on leaks we expect the OnePlus 13 to have a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 6,000mAh battery and a trio of 50MP cameras.

Combined with the hefty RAM and storage amounts shown in this video, the phone could be a real beast – although it’s entirely possible that the 24GB model will only appear in China, as was the case with the OnePlus 12.

Anyway, we’re now just a week away from the phone’s full reveal, so we’ll definitely know all the specs then. That said, this initial launch is also likely to be for China only, with a global launch likely to take place early next year.
