Rachel Bilson isn’t shy when it comes to sharing what she likes and dislikes in the bedroom, so it’s no surprise that she’s made another boudoir confession on her podcast.
The 42-year-old actress revealed that she is cautious about dating men in their 40s if they haven’t had many sexual partners, and considers that too few.
Speaking on her podcast, Broad Ideas with Rachel Bilsonshe said, “This is going to sound so judgmental, but if a guy is in his 40s and he (has) only slept with four women…”
But she did acknowledge that it “all depends” on certain situations, with those in a previous long-term relationship unable to add up the numbers.

The 45-year-old actress said that the circumstances are different if the man has had a series of long-term relationships
“Maybe he’s had decades of (long) relationships, completely respectable,” she noted.
“But if he’s single in his 40s and it’s only been four and he’s never been long-term, thank you, then that’s a problem.”
The conversation arose when Rachel, along with her cohost and longtime friend Olivia Allen and podcast producer Rob Holysz, reflected on their different dating histories.
Rachel previously dated her OC co-star Adam Brody from 2003 to 2006 and was in a decade-long love affair – and eighteen-month engagement – with actor Hayden Christensen, which ended in September 2017.
The couple shares daughter, Briar Rose, eight.
More recently, she dated comedian Bill Hader, now 45, but the pair broke up in 2020.
In 2022, she was rumored to be dating artist Zac LaRoc – with whom she put on a very romantic show during an outing in May last year – but she never officially confirmed they were dating, despite saying in an interview admitted during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast last August that she had a new boyfriend.

The podcaster, who is known for speaking extremely candidly about her sex life, delved into a particularly spicy chat on her podcast earlier this year.
The OC actress revealed that she didn’t have an orgasm during intercourse until she was 38, when she waxed lyrical about intimacy during a conversation with comedian Whitney Cummings.

The actress has come under fire for her candidacy surrounding her sex life, revealing she lost a job after revealing the intimate details of her sex life earlier this year.
While appearing on the May 3 episode of Women on Top, she discussed her favorite sex positions and also spoke openly about the time she made a shit-in-my-pants joke: “It’s like a fetish thing.”
“I learned that if you want to have an orgasm during sex, you have to be on top of it,” she said.
“But missionary is my favorite. I want to be fucking abused.”
However, she lost the partnership with the ‘conservative brand’ because she ‘talked candidly and openly about sex in a humorous way’.
“This is the first time in my professional life that I’ve lost my job this week because of things that were said,” Rachel admitted to Broad Ideas after the incident.
She continued, “Now, in this day and age, I’m baffled (laughs). A single mother, a woman lost a job because they were frank and honest and the subject was sex.”
