Mischa Barton has shared her love of the local sights and sounds of Melbourne and Victoria.
The OC star is in Australia to film the revamped soap opera, Neighbours, and after her month on set is up, the actress says she’s going on vacation to Down Under.
Her list of places to visit includes the beautiful Mornington Peninsula and Prahran Market.
“One of my favorite things to do in Victoria is go to the Mornington Peninsula,” she shared The Herald Sun on Sunday.
‘I really like it there; I like how rough it is and I like the beaches.’

Mischa says she’s also on hand for fine dining at South Yarra’s Beverley, which serves California-style food.
“Another favorite thing though is just going to Prahran market[and]keeping things calm,” she added.
The 37-year-old recently shared an update from the Neighbors set with fans, appearing in a video on the show’s official Instagram account.
She promised that her character will enliven the series and bring “drama” to the storylines.
“I started filming on set and it’s going so well,” the star, who dyed her hair blonde for the role, said in the video.
“One of my favorite things to do in Victoria is go to the Mornington Peninsula,” she said on Sunday
“Another favorite thing though is just going to Prahran market (and) keeping things calm,” she added

“I can’t wait for you to see it, there’s a lot of drama to come. So see you soon,’ Mischa added.
Mischa’s role as Reece in the Amazon reboot will shake up Ramsay Street as her character’s identity is “not what it seems.”
The former Hollywood socialite’s appearance is intended to appeal to American viewers, as Neighbours, set in the fictional Melbourne suburb of Erinsborough, is shown in the US on Amazon Freevee.
“I’m excited to be part of the next chapter of this iconic show, and I’m really looking forward to being back in Australia – a place I know and love!” Barton said in a statement.
“I think Reece’s character will be a great role for me to explore and play with,” she added.

Barton began her career as a child actress in Hollywood films such as The Sixth Sense and Notting Hill, both of which were released in 1999.
However, she became a bona fide superstar when she was cast as the troubled teen Marissa on the hit TV series The OC which ran from 2003 to 2007.
Cameras started rolling for Amazon’s revived Neighbors last month, and the series should return to screens by the end of this year.
The sequel of the long-running soap opera follows the million-watched finale in 2022.
