The ninth-generation Apple iPad is on sale for the lowest price ever

The extremely capable 10.2-inch, ninth-generation iPad is now available for its lowest price ever at multiple retailers. Originally priced at $329.99, Amazon, Best buyAnd Goal have marked down the 64GB version to just $199.99. The discount makes the versatile tablet more affordable than the Steam Deck or ROG Ally, and the same price as a Nintendo Switch Lite. The 64GB of storage should be more than enough to accommodate a sizable library of mobile games, comics, books, or whatever media you like to consume when you’re away from your desk.

The Apple App Store already has a huge catalog of some of the best games you can play on mobile devices, but with the addition of a Bluetooth controller, you can also take full advantage of cloud gaming services to access your favorite console titles on your new tablet.

While the ninth-generation iPad has been replaced by models with slightly larger displays and significantly more powerful M-series processors, the 2021 model’s A13 Bionic CPU is still capable of running most tablet-specific applications. That is, unless you’re using this tablet as a laptop replacement, it’ll handle itself just fine.
