The next Silent Hill Transmission airs this week and will include ‘game updates’
Konami has announced that the second part of the Silent Hill Transmission showcase airs this week.
The publisher shared the news via an X/Twitter post today (May 28) where it confirmed that the upcoming Silent Hill The broadcast begins on Thursday, May 30 at 4:00 PM PDT / 6:00 PM CST / 7:00 PM EST / 11:00 PM GMT.
Fans can tune in to see the official Silent Hill Youtube Channel where Konami “game updates, a deeper look at the movie (Return to Silent Hill) and new merchandise”.
The first Silent Hill Transmission aired in October 2022, where Konami first unveiled its lineup of games, including Silent Hill 2 remake, Silent Hill: Townfall, Stille Heuvel fAnd Silent Hill: Ascension.
In terms of said ‘game updates’, we can expect new details about the company’s highly anticipated one Silent Hill 2 remake, from developer Bloober Team, coming to PS5 and PC.
Although the studio unveiled an exciting new trailer in February, it didn’t offer a release date, so we’re hoping the upcoming broadcast can finally provide one.
As for the other titles, so far we only have short teasers and trailers, with no information on platforms or release dates.
Silent Hill: Townfall is being developed by No Code and is described as an “all-new entry in the legendary series.”
From NeoBards Entertainment Limited, Silent Hill F is the ninth main game in the Silent Hill franchise and is set in rural Japan in the 1960s.
Silent Hill: Ascension Released shortly after the first Transmission on Halloween, it is an interactive streaming series that follows multiple main characters from locations as they face a series of horrors. As of May 2024, the series will consist of 21 chapters, so it’s possible the upcoming broadcast will include an update to the game.
