The Natural Confectionery Company has announced a huge change to its popular range of jelly lollipops, effective immediately.
From Wednesday, the confectionery company will offer a ‘healthier’ range to its customers.
According to a spokesperson for Natural Confectionery Co. the new selection of lollipops contains 50 percent less sugar than most jelly lollipops.
It will be available in two flavors: Tropical Blast and Berry Wave.
The lollipops have a Health Star Rating of 4.5 and contain no artificial colours, flavors or sweeteners.

Amy Richards, Senior Marketing Manager – Candy ANZ for Mondelēz, the parent company behind the popular brand, said she hopes to “redefine the snacking experience.”
‘As consumers increasingly focus on health and wellbeing, the new range from The Natural Confectionery Co. a treat that meets the growing demand for lower sugar snacks, while still delivering the taste and flavors Aussies expect,” she said.
The Natural Confectionery Co. is an Australian confectionery brand launched in 1997 and owned by Mondelēz International. The brand is known for its iconic jelly lollies, including the popular Snakes, Party Mix, Sour Squirms and Dinosaurs.
