The most promiscuous countries: Average number of sexual partners people have in Australia, the UK, America and Asia revealed

Australia is labeled as the most promiscuous and sexually open country in the world.

A global study looked at the sexual habits of 45 countries and assigned each a Global Promiscuity Index score, with Australia coming out on top.

It weighed six factors, including the number of sexual partners, the number of sexually transmitted diseases, the average age at which people lost their virginity and attitudes towards prostitution and premarital sex.

According to NapLabAustralians were found to have the second highest number of sexual partners after Turkey, with an average of 13.3.

The average age at which Aussies lost their virginity and engaged in sexual activity was 17.9 years.

When surveyed about their views on premarital sex, Australians were very lax, with 81 percent saying the act was morally acceptable or not a moral issue.

Fortunately, despite Australians’ willingness to jump into bed, STD rates were at the lower end of the scale.

The prevalence of sexually transmitted infections counted towards the promiscuity score, with 14,545 out of 100,000 Aussies reporting being affected.

South Africa had the highest number of STDs with a rate of 32,054 per 100,00.

Prostitution and premarital sex are legal in Australia, increasing the availability and acceptance of promiscuity.

The only countries where sex before marriage is illegal are Malaysia and Indonesia, which rank 43rd and 44th out of 45 respectively.

Taking all factors into account, the Aussies achieved an impressive index score of 360.14 ahead of Brazil’s 340.66.

People in Iceland had the youngest age at which people lost their virginity at 15.6 years, while Turkey had the highest number of sexual partners at 14.5 years.

India was the least promiscuous country, scoring low on all six factors.

People in India had the lowest rate of STDs in the world, the highest age at which people lost their virginity and the fewest sexual partners.
