‘Hears! let’s build a river house with concrete boat access only. What a wonderful idea! I mean, how hard can it be?’ she teased herself, along with a video of a concrete truck being hauled away on a boat.

He added that he “thinks it’s worth it” and “watch the space.”

Larry and his wife Sylvie paid $1 million for the abandoned property in 2019.

The land block last sold for $575,000 in 1999.

In October, Larry took his fans on a tour of the dilapidated house, and the reality TV star opted to see the lighter side of hard work.

The presenter, 58, who has built a property empire alongside his television career, shared a video on Instagram showing the house in Neverfail Bay, New South Wales.

‘Ok. So I’ve been thinking about it and maybe I won’t have to renovate,” Larry said, showing the inside of the house.

“I have a roof over my head, I have a beautiful kitchen, I have some whole peeled tomatoes,” he added, clearly sarcastic.

“I can cook in that thing, it’s air conditioned, which is great, there’s a comfortable bed, and the latest TV to watch The Morning Show.”

Great job: ‘Okay. So I’ve been thinking about it and maybe I won’t have to renovate,” Larry said, showing the house around as he panned the camera.

Larry was clearly joking with the place falling apart and needing a lot of work to bring it up to scratch.

The TV star showed off his sense of humor, adding in the video’s caption: “Ummm, did I accidentally buy a meth lab?”

Larry shared a clip of the dilapidated place earlier with him saying that he and his wife Sylvie were going to “try to turn this huge dangerously dilapidated termite nest into a fabulous industrial bohemian love nest.”

Missing parts: In footage from earlier this month, Larry showed broken wooden boards on the property’s floor before moving the camera up to the roof, which was removed, leaving only the aluminum foil insulation.

Larry went on to explain that the renewal is an “ambitious marriage test project.”

“It will either be AMAZING or an absolute disaster,” he added. “Either way, it’s going to be some great Insta content… watch this space, wish us luck.”

Larry and Sylvie have put together quite an impressive portfolio of properties in New South Wales.

They bought an architectural design weekend, also at Berowra Waters, in 2019 for $1.1 million.

At around the same time, the Emdurs spent $2.15 million on a fancy shipping container home in Kangaroo Valley.

The house combines polished concrete, glass and steel floors with eco-friendly features such as solar panels with a battery bank and rainwater harvesting.

Larry also recently sold his Bondi Beach investment property earlier this year.
