The Morning Show season three trailer: Jennifer Aniston brings in Jon Hamm to save UBA as Reese Witherspoon talks ‘making a mistake’
The trailer for season three of The Morning Show was released on Thursday morning.
The theme of the clip is to stay ‘on top of the game’ during the morning program on TV.
Jennifer Aniston stands out in the trailer. The Friends veteran, who plays on-air talent Alex Levy, is heard saying the “secrets” must come out as she searches for more power.
The beauty also spends time with a newcomer played by Jon Hamm of Mad Men fame. He stars as Paul Marks, a corporate titan who has set his sights on UBA, United Broadcast Association.
There is also a cyber-attack dubbed “nuclear” and a potential “financial disaster” rocking UBA.
And Reese Witherspoon’s character – host Bradley Jackson – collapses when her moral compass is questioned. “I made a mistake, but I’ll fix it,” she admits.
The acclaimed series returns to Apple TV+ on September 13, 2023 with ten episodes, including the first two episodes, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through November 8, 2023.

They tell that they both wanted to make a difference on the morning show, but that really didn’t happen.
Also starring Billy Crudup as Cory Ellison, Tig Notaro as Amanda Robinson, Marks’ chief of staff, and Julianna Margulies as Laura Peterson.
In season three of The Morning Show, “the stakes are high as the network’s future is called into question and allegiances are brought to the brink when a tech titan takes an interest in UBA. Unexpected alliances are formed, personal truths are weaponized, and everyone is forced to confront their core values both inside and outside the newsroom,” a press release read.
The Emmy, SAG and Critics Choice Award-winning drama, which has already received an early season four renewal, is show-run and executive produced by Charlotte Stoudt, and directed and executive produced by Mimi Leder.
The series is produced by studio Media Res, and executive produced by Michael Ellenberg through Media Res, along with Stoudt and Leder; Aniston and Kristin Hahn serve as executive producers through Echo Films; Witherspoon produces with Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine.
“It’s a good, juicy one,” Aniston told People about season three.
“Everyone gets into trouble. Everyone has a secret. And everyone just walks down the line. This year it’s a lot more sensual.’

The Morning Show was initially only picked up for two seasons.
But a third season came after the schedules were set.
In January 2022, showrunner Charlotte Stoudt confirmed that The Morning Show had a third season.
“I’m thrilled to be joining forces with Apple TV Plus and The Morning Show,” Stoudt told Variety.

In August 2022, Deadline reported that Hamm would be joining the cast. Hamm plays Paul Marks, a corporate titan who “sets his sights on UBA.”
Nicole Beharie will also appear in season three, as a new host of The Morning Show, who is “a grounded, competitive and charismatic millennial,” according to a press release.
In October 2022, Variety reported that Natalie Morales will join season three in a recurring role as Kate Danton, Stella’s (Greta Lee) best friend from Stanford.
