Wolves ace Adama Traore is one of the fastest players in the world, and he recently showed his speed by racing against two young fans in a supermarket parking lot in a video clip that has gone viral.
The Spain international made the youngsters’ day as he posed for a quick photo outside a Sainsbury’s in Wombourne, Staffordshire. But things improved for the boys when Traore agreed to a running race to ‘the blue car’.
The father of one of the youngsters, Darryl Smith, took to Twitter to share the clip – which now has more than 430,000 views.

Alongside the music video, he posted: ‘When my boy and his cousins challenge Adama to a race!! What a down-to-earth CEO!’
Traoré doesn’t reach top speed in the footrace, but the youngsters are clearly having fun and can be heard shouting: ‘Yes Adama! Yes Adama!’ as they try to keep up with the 26-year-old star.
Traore’s actions have been praised by many on social media, including Wolves supporters struggling this season.
“With all the shit going on right now, this is the wholesome content you love to see. It doesn’t take much to make one’s year – brilliant from Adama. The sheer joy in the kids’ voices – that’s the connection that is sorely lacking,” said one Twitter user.
“Fair play to Adama, what a great thing to do, that’s a reminder there,” commented another.
“This is pure joy. They will never forget this,” said a third.

The Spain international has recently returned to the Wolves base, scoring his first EPL goal since January in the recent 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace.
He is expected to leave the club next year after fruitless negotiations over a new contract.
