Inspired by the cloverleaf, the bracelets are meant to signify good luck.

Additionally, Kerr wrote eloquently under the gallery, “Love you forever.”

Kristie met Kerr when they both played for competing clubs in the American league in 2019.

They spoke online for nearly four months during the 2020 Covid lockdown before spending two weeks in quarantine together where they quickly fell in love.

The pair continued their romance ahead of the 2021 Olympics, where they were photographed together after the US defeat to Australia in the semi-finals.

Their on-field embrace made headlines as Kerr’s split with her former longtime partner – another American club player Nikki Stanton – had not yet become public.

Their international romance has since been extensively documented on social media, with both women amassing hundreds of thousands of followers.

‘We are not private people. I like to share my story. I like to share who I am outside of football. Football makes up five percent of my life,” Kerr told British publication Gaffer earlier this year.

The amorous posts come after it was reported that Kerr made more than $3 million last year, and after Australia fell in love with the Matildas during their World Cup campaign, the soccer superstar and her teammates could be a lot richer.

The Matildas finished in fourth place at the tournament after going down to England in the semi-finals.

With over 11 million people across Australia tuning in to the game, the World Cup has done wonders for our Australian female footballers and the Matildas brand.

Kerr is Australia’s highest paid female soccer player, reportedly earning $3.3 million last year.

That eye-watering figure takes into account her $600,000 salary from her Chelsea club, with the rest reportedly coming from sponsorship deals with Nike, Mastercard and EA Sports. The Australian Financial Review reported.

Kerr’s 13-year deal with Nike is valued at about $1 million.

Last year, she became the first female player to appear on the cover of the video game FIFA 2023.

She recently purchased a vacant oceanfront plot of land for $940,000 in the Perth suburb of North Coogee.

Kerr grew up in the area and the 200sqm block is close to where her parents, Roxanne and Roger Kerr live.

The block comes with approved plans for a three storey townhouse and sits just back from the coast with ocean views.

According to recent data, the value of the Matildas brand will rise to $210 million, from $40 million after the World Cup ends.
