Former “Married at First Sight” star Liam Cooper says he deeply regrets getting facial fat injections.
In an emotional post on Instagram, the 32-year-old said he was left with body image issues as a result of the procedure, which he underwent a year ago.
“At the time I was told that fat injections were just like fillers,” he admitted.
‘Well let me tell you something, I hardly regret things in my life, but this is one that I regret BIGLY, and when I say big, I mean if I could turn back time, I would!’ he continued.
“Because of this, I now have body image issues and at times I hate how my face looks now.” I hate it so much, I hate myself looking at the photos.’
Former “Married at First Sight” star Liam Cooper shared a photo of his face after a fat injection procedure and says he deeply regrets having it done.
Liam went on to say that he now avoids taking photos and is afraid to even post videos on his Instagram Stories.
‘Now I’m in the process of turning this around and can’t wait!’ he added.
Liam made history in Season 8 of Married At First Sight as the show’s first bisexual groom.
He was paired with Georgia Fairweather in the series, but the pair split at the end.
Liam told The Vash 2021 that he wasn’t prepared for the amount of viewer reaction he received during his time on MAFS.

“It surprised me when I got those comments because I’ve only had positive things said to me in general (before the show),” he said.
After his experience in the Channel 9 experiment, Liam says he hopes viewers will educate themselves and learn to treat everyone the same – regardless of their sexuality.
And while he may not have found love with his bride Georgia, Liam has found happiness with MAFS NZ groom Samuel Levy.
