Mandalorian viewers were stunned on Wednesday when Lizzo and Jack Black made surprise guest appearances in the latest episode.
The 34-year-old About Damn Time hitmaker and 53-year-old actor shocked fans of the hugely popular Disney+ series when they appeared on Season 3 Episode 6.
Lizzo – full name Melissa Viviane Jefferson – is royalty on the series as she portrayed The Duchess Of Plazir-15.
Meanwhile, Jack is a military leader named Captain Bombardier.
The two both serve as rulers of Plazer-15, which operates as a direct democracy that has been explored throughout the season.

Fans were stunned by the surprise cameos and took to Twitter to express their surprise.
One said, ‘okay I’m SO obsessed with lizzo and jack black in #TheMandalorian’.
Another tweeted, “LIZZO AND JACK BLACK??? 2 OF MY FAVORITE PEOPLE ARE NOW PART OF STAR WARS????’
A third repeated, “Lizzo in the Mandalorian? The way I gasped for breath’.
While a fourth agreed, writing, “SEEING JACK BLACK AND LIZZO IN THE LAST EPISODE OF #themandalorian WAS NOT IN MY BINGO CARD 2023.”
A fifth praised, “Jack Black and Lizzo are the aunt and uncle I didn’t know I wanted.”

Others said Lizzo must have “manifested” the role, as the Good As Hell hitmaker is a huge fan of the show, even dressing up as Baby Yoda at Spotify’s 2021 Halloween party.

One said, “Every clip I see of The Mandalorian looks like a Super Bowl ad for Doritos.”
Another agreed, adding “why does it look like a superbowl ad.”
A third tweeted, “What is THE MANDALORIAN even about?”
And a fourth asked, “Lizzo just knighted Baby yoda aka grogu. What Happens in Star Wars’.
Lizzo and Jack weren’t the only guest stars in the episode, as Christopher Lloyd also appeared as Separatist sympathizer, Commissioner Helgait.
The Mandalorian is arguably the Disney streaming service’s signature program.
The first season received widespread critical acclaim and commercial success upon its debut.
The second batch of episodes received a similarly positive response from reviewers and fans of the series.
The third season of The Mandalorian, which is expected to run for a total of eight episodes, debuted March 1 on the Disney+ streaming service.
Favreau previously confirmed that he was working on the program’s fourth season in May last year.
The show’s creator then revealed that he finished working on the new season in February.

During an interview with Colliderlead actor Pedro Pascal advised fans to expect the unexpected in the soon-to-be-premiered episodes.
“Without giving anything away, I would say the surprises are not necessarily what you would expect from our experience with surprises leading up to this season,” he said.
The artist then commented that he had grown fond of The Mandalorian’s unorthodox storyline.
“There’s this kind of approach to the way the story is told that’s kind of unexpected, and I like that,” he said.
The third season continues the adventures of Pascal and Baby Yoda’s character, with Mando revealing that he is returning to his home planet of Mandalore to clear his name.
The seventh episode of The Mandalorian’s third season debuts April 12 on Disney+.
