Australian television royalty came out in force for the 2023 Logie Awards on Sunday night.
While the A-list event is known for inspiring sensational sartorial choices, not everyone turned up in their fashion finery.
Some stars missed the mark with dated designs and imperfect fits doing them a disservice.
Former Sunrise host Samantha Armytage was absolutely glowing and chose a very complimentary shade of red for her skin tone.
Unfortunately the gown, which featured a futuristic-inspired design, swamped her frame with its boxy skirting.

Johanna Griggs opted for an off-the-shoulder turquoise satin number with a sequined insert down one side.
While the television star looked tanned, toned and terrific, the dated design of the gown was a distraction.
Ricki-Lee Coulter was every inch the bombshell in a fitted grey frock that showed off lots of bust and featured a daring split.
However, the extremely revealing cut of the dress put her at risk of a wardrobe malfunction and ensured all eyes were on her anatomy.

Also letting it all hang out was Abbie Chatfield, who opted for edgy, channeling a rock star’s girlfriend circa 1988 in a gothic corset and maxi skirt with a thigh split.
Her makeup look was stunning, and the radio star had her gorgeous figure on display, but the ensemble looked like it belonged on a heavy metal music video set.
Julia Morris showed off her slimmed-down figure in a beautiful white gown that fit her perfectly.
But in between the bridal white and the flowing train, the comedian looked like she was heading to a wedding instead of an awards show.

Knowing the funnywoman, that may have been the gag, but it distracted from Julia’s impressive post-divorce makeover

Celeste Barber was glittering in a silver sequin mini dress, however her mismatched white heels threw off the look.
Although the frock showed off her figure, the comedian looked more like she was heading out for a night with the girls than walking a red carpet at a prestigious event.
The Challenge star Suzan Mutesi never fails to impress with her daring fashion choices but her Logies gown swamped the beauty, leaving her looking like she was being attacked by sea creatures.

Lynne McGranger got ten points for thinking outside the box with her ruffled pale green blouse and trouser set, which was a gorgeous colour that suited her perfectly.
Unfortunately the ruched, ruffled and wide cut of the ensemble, along with her purple feathered purse and matching shoes, called to mind a touch of the circus.
Sandra Sully was gorgeous in a bright red lace maxi dress with cap sleeves that showed off a hint of bust.
While pretty the newsreader’s bohemian look seemed a tad too casual for an awards show.
