The Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey reveals the sweet advice Beyoncé gave her after she signed with the singer’s management company
The Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey has thanked Beyoncé for her mentorship at the start of her show business career.
The rising actress, 23, who signed with Beyoncé’s management company in 2018, said the superstar’s guidance meant everything to her when she started.
“I think with Beyoncé you really learn by watching her, and the example of the human being she is,” she shared The Daily Telegraph on Saturday.
“Seeing how hard she works and how nice she is. She is one of those people who is very humble and doesn’t like to say “do this!”. It’s a lot – “I’m proud of you, spread your wings and fly”.’
Halle said she loved playing Ariel in the Disney movie, as her mermaid character embarks on a journey of growth similar to hers.
