The Pokémon Company’s life-size Psyduck is back. Are ready for preorder at Pokémon Center’s US-based store, just weeks after restocking on the Japanese site. The Pokémon Company originally released its 31-inch Psyduck plush in 2020, a boon to Pokémon fans during the depths of the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s been in stock a few times before, and here it is again, with perfect timing with Netflix’s Pokémon Concierge, starring Psyduck.
Psyduck remains exactly the same as he was back then, both stunning and perpetually bewildered by his chronic headaches. (Psyduck is the icon of a migraine oat.) Psyduck measures 91 centimeters in its Pokédex entry, making the large yellow duck lifelike. The only problem is that it’s $324.99 – $45 more expensive than 2020. That’s inflation for you.

Words cannot express how happy I am with this enormous Psyduck. Really huge. I’m really glad it’s finally back in stock, and I had no qualms about buying it this time. He pops up in random places around the house and it’s always a shock at first when I see him (he’s definitely using his confusion attack), but then a calmness quickly washes over me, and I feel reassured knowing that he also is. confused all the time. Please note that the shipping box is quite large and it says Psyduck on the outside, so don’t leave it unattended for too long or someone else might try to catch it! It is far too rare and precious. Trust me – buy it and you won’t regret it!! PS…he looks great with hats.
There are actually two four-star reviews out of a total of 70 – the rest are top marks. The biggest downside is that Psyduck is a bit top heavy, making it relatively easy to fall over. But for the most part, Psyduck has been worth the purchase for many Pokémon fans:
He is incredibly round and looks confused and sad all the time, it’s like looking in a mirror! I couldn’t bring myself to put Psyduck on the floor, so he takes up half of my bed. A small price to pay for Psyduck watching over me while I dream about an Appletun plush addition.
Plus, Psyduck came in a box that wasn’t discreet at all. Everyone will be able to read in big, bold letters that it contains a 31” Psyduck plush, so be prepared to intercept the package as soon as it is delivered, otherwise Team Rocket could steal it.
The Pokémon Company expects to begin shipping this new batch of yellow ducks in October. If you can’t wait until then but don’t care which big Pokémon you have, a tall Lucario, large round SphealAnd huge Wailord are all in stock.
