The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom leaks early, apparently
Two weeks before The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the KingdomThe May 12 release date seems to have already leaked the game. This isn’t entirely surprising – it’s the biggest game of the year and people are eager to watch it – but Nintendo is probably trying to remove the footage.
If you want to play Tears of the Kingdom without it being spoiled before the release date, you’ll want to avoid social media and Reddit.
It’s becoming more and more common to see early footage of major games; Nintendo and The Pokémon Company Pokémon Scarlet And purple was distributed online more than a week before its November release date.
So far, the footage is mostly screenshots from private live streams, with several small clips of unseen footage from cutscenes and gameplay. It seems to be quite early since then Tears of the KingdomThe first leaked footage went online, but it’s likely it will continue and spread quickly. Nintendo has not responded to Polygon’s request for comment.

Nintendo wants to sue the leaker, but first it has to find out who did it. Nintendo has sued Discord for the leaker’s identity, and that legal process is underway.
When images of pokemon sword And Shield leaked via an unreleased strategy guide, The Pokémon Company also took swift action to crack down on the leakers. A lawsuit was filed in 2019 and settled in 2021, forcing each defendant to pay The Pokémon Company $150,000 in damages and attorneys’ fees.
