The launch date for Samsung’s new foldable and wearables has been leaked again

Previous rumors suggested that Wednesday, July 10 would be the date that Samsung would hold its next big Unpacked launch event – and a new leak has all but confirmed that this will indeed be the day of this grand reveal.

The leak comes in the form of a countdown chart posted by Evan Blas, one of the most trusted tipsters in the industry. It looks like this could be from Samsung’s official marketing material, and clearly states the date and time.

That time is 10am in Samsung’s home country of South Korea – or 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm BST / 11pm AEST for the rest of the world. The image also contains a pre-registration link, presumably to sign up for updates in advance.

The leaked photo also shows the familiar Galaxy AI stars – so expect more AI – and an image of the Eiffel Tower, which may be an indication of where the event will take place. There has been speculation before that the next Samsung Unpacked would somehow tie in with the Summer Olympics, which start in Paris on July 26.

This is what’s coming

We can look forward to a whole range of new gadgets during this event. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 should arrive a year after their predecessors launched – and we continue to see rumors floating around about a possible Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra.

However, there is talk that the event will mainly focus on wearables. In that category we should see the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and perhaps the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra – with the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE already announced.

It’s likely that the Samsung Galaxy Ring will also see a full launch, after it was teased during the Unpacked event Samsung held in January. We should finally get details like the price and availability of the smart ring.

As you’d expect, we’ll cover everything that happens as it happens, and if Samsung sticks to tradition, you can also watch a live stream of the show via YouTube or the Samsung website.
