However, mom is struggling right now. She’s not doing very well. She is suffering a bit and decaying. It’s sad when you’ve been together so long that age gets the better of you.
I was with her a few months ago. We just have to be with her as much as possible. It’s just her age. She has all kinds of things going on now.
On his Instagram the week before, Peter said he was “sad that age is taking its toll” on his parents as he shared a sweet photo of himself with them.
He wrote: ‘Happy 67th wedding anniversary mom and dad. I love you both with every bit of my heart. I feel happy and sad posting this.
“Happy of course that they have achieved 67 years of marriage together, but sad that age is taking its toll and especially Mum is really struggling.”
I always pray for the health of both. I also pray that I can be half the father to my children that you two are to me.’
