The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey has revealed that she is gender fluid.
The 19-year-old British actress, who rose to fame on Game Of Thrones as Lyanna Mormont, told the New York Times that she found it ‘exciting’ when she was referred to as ‘he’.
She said: ‘I think my gender has always been very fluid. Someone would call me she or she and I wouldn’t think about it, but I knew if someone called me he, it would be kind of exciting.’

The star said she checks off ‘non-binary’ if it’s an option on a form, before adding: ‘I’m very much just one person.
“Being gendered isn’t something I particularly like, but in terms of pronouns, I really couldn’t care less.”
The star is nominated in the Best Younger Actor/Actress category for his role in Catherine Called Birdy as Lady Catherine / Birdy at the upcoming Critics Choice Awards on Sunday.
Ramsey joins other famous faces who have come out as gender fluid or non-binary.

emma corrin identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns as of 2021, while Sam Smith revealed they were non-binary in 2019.
The Last Of Us was first released on the Playstation 3 in 2013 and took the gaming world by storm, selling 1.3 million units in its first week and over 17 million in 2018.
The game is set 20 years after a pandemic wiped out most of the world, and focuses on Ellie, who may be instrumental in curing the pandemic, and a smuggler named Joel.
Ramsay stars as Ellie, a 14-year-old orphan, struggling to know that she may have an important role to play in saving the world as she knows it. She stars alongside Pedro Pascal as Joel.
The game is considered by many to be one of the best of all time, which led to the sequel, The Last Of Us Part II, released in June 2020.
The sequel sold over 4 million copies in its opening weekend, making it one of the best-selling PS4 games.
Before this new HBO series came to fruition, the game was in development as a film adaptation at Sony Pictures. It will be released on January 15.
