The last of us co-creator Neil Druckmann has confirmed that the show’s second season will feature never-before-seen material cut from the original games.
Speak with Entertainment weekly (EW), Druckmann revealed that The last of us season 2 features “one element from a cut-level” that was omitted The Last of Us Part IIaka the second game in Naughty Dog’s multi-award winning video game franchise.
Druckmann, Naughty Dog’s president and co-showrunner of Max’s hugely popular TV adaptation of the game series, did not reveal which of the two Part IIThe three cut-levels of the hit series will be included in the second season of the hit show.
However, now that Naughty Dog will reveal said missions – called the Lost Levels – they will come into play The Last of Us Part IIIn the upcoming remastered edition, fans of the TV show and game franchise will delve into the remake’s new material to find out which one will appear in Season 2.
“As a tease, I will say that there is at least one cut-level element planned for the show,” Druckmann suggested. “I say that with the caveat that we have not started filming the show yet and all things are subject to change based on what we ultimately think is best for the show.”
Unfortunately, as Druckmann hints, it will be some time before we find out which scene will make its way into the film. The last of ussecond season. What The Last of Us Part II’s Lost Levels Can Tell Us About Season 2
