Viewers meet Reverend Ian Candy for the first time, with the new character informing viewers that he is a newly qualified pastor who jokes that he is “married to God.”

Based on the retro series The Darling Buds of May, the ITV sitcom follows a working-class family living in 1950s Kent.
In the second series, the new family of the Jerebohms will arrive in the village and soon come into conflict with the Larkin clan, according to Radio Times.
Joelle Rae, 21, who appeared on Netflix’s Get Even and ITV’s Emmerdale, will also reportedly replace Sabrina Bartlett as the eldest Larkin daughter Mariette.
Sabrina, 30, left the show after the first series with reports of a “sensitive on-set disagreement.”

According to The Sun, production sources said: “Sabrina will truly be missed by everyone this year. But Joelle really impressed the casting producers during her audition – she captured the role right away and it was easy to see how she would fit into the cast.
“Joelle is thrilled to have won the role and can’t wait to start filming later this month.”
Sabrina reportedly complained to bosses that her co-star Tok Stephen used a photo of her as his WhatsApp profile picture.
The 23-year-old actor, who plays Cedric “Charley” Charlton, will appear in the second series despite tensions on set that led to his co-star Sabrina leaving the show.

The Sun claimed Tok used the image after Sabrina took a selfie on his phone, and the actress allegedly complained to the show bosses, saying it made her “uncomfortable.”
A show insider told the publication: “He insisted he only did it for a joke, but she filed a complaint about his behaviour. From that moment on there was a real tension between the two of them.’
An ITV representative declined to comment on MailOnline at the time. MailOnline also reached out to representatives for Tok and Sabrina at the time for comment.
Exit: It comes after Sabrina Bartlett (pictured) quit the show amid reports that she complained about co-star Tok Stephen to show bosses
In June, The Mail On Sunday revealed that Sabrina decided not to return to The Larkins because she had lodged a complaint about Tok’s behavior with ITV bosses.
The Mail on Sunday was told the broadcaster has launched an investigation into the allegation, but ITV declined to confirm or deny that an investigation was underway.
A member of the Larkins team said, “Tok is back, but we’re sad and surprised that Sabrina isn’t.
“We all assumed Tok wouldn’t be back if Sabrina quit. The last we heard was that there would be a new duo with Mariette and Charley.
“Sabrina loved the show. It’s a great shame she’s decided to leave.’
