The Kelly Clarkson Show is under fire after 11 former and current employees claimed the daytime television series promotes a toxic workplace in a shocking new interview with Rolling stone.
Much to the shock of the 41-year-old singer, staff members have come forward to speak of their experiences of “bullying, verbal abuse and retaliation from high-ranking producers, and no help from staff when these issues were reported.”
While Clarkson’s was called “fantastic” and not bully, executive producer Alex Duda was described as “a monster.”
The staffers, who wished to remain anonymous for fear of “retaliation,” also stated that they don’t believe “the mother of two” has any idea of how dissatisfied employees are with working conditions.
When asked about the allegations, an NBCU spokesperson told DailyMail.com that they are “committed to a safe and respectful work environment and take workplace complaints very seriously and insinuating otherwise is not true.”

“When issues are reported, they are immediately assessed, investigated and acted upon as necessary,” the representative said in a statement. “The Kelly Clarkson Show is committed to building a safe, respectful and equitable workplace that fosters a culture of inclusion and creativity.”

A former employee stated, “NBC is protecting the show because it’s their new moneymaker, but Kelly has no idea how unhappy her staff are.”
Another recalled, “I remember going on the roof of the stage crying and saying, ‘Oh my God, what am I doing?’ Why am I doing this to myself?’
Many former employees called Duda toxic and insisted she block the host from hearing complaints of unfair treatment.
“I have a friend who is an executive producer who warned me about taking this job because she’s apparently done this on every show she’s worked on,” a former staffer claimed.
While all 11 employees said they believe Clarkson is in the dark about much of her crew’s suffering, they pointed out that their pay was too low to cover basic needs without a side job.
