Glen Powell has revealed he has offered a cash prize to the family of the winner of his lookalike competition – a cameo in his next film.
Before the competition kicked off on Sunday in Austin, Texas, the 36-year-old Twistors actor shared a tongue-in-cheek video on social media announcing that he would be contributing the special reward.
He also added that he wished he could have attended the match in person, but that wasn’t possible as he was abroad for a shoot.
Glen said in the video: “Welcome to the Justin Hartley lookalike contest.
“In all seriousness, I have gathered you here today for an important mission. I want to commit a robbery, and we don’t need masks because we all have the same face.
‘It’s the perfect crime! They can’t get us all because we are one: a criminal Glenterprise.’

Turning his attention to the prize, Glen continued, “You may know that my parents make a cameo in every film I make, but today the winner of the Glen Powell lookalike contest will win their parents, or a family member of their choice, a cameo. in my next movie.
‘I’m completely serious. This is a cash prize of $6 billion.”
Glen’s parents – Glen Sr. and Cyndy Powell – have appeared in all of his films, including his recent film Twisters, in which he co-starred with Daisy Edgar-Jones.
“I think they’ve literally been in everyone since Spy Kids 3,” he shared on the Today Show in July.
Fans were overwhelmed by Glen’s sweet gesture to the competition winner and flooded social media with comments.
“Glen Powell does everything he can to make sure the winner has a good time,” one person wrote. ‘Respect.’
“Well whoever wins is a lucky man,” wrote another.

The Austin American Statesman reported that Maxwell Braunstein was crowned the winner of the competition.
Maxwell received $5, a cowboy hat, free queso for a year from Torchy’s Tacos and a special message from Glen himself, who was on FaceTime with his mother during the event.
Lookalike competitions have swept the world in recent weeks following the success of the Timothee Chalamet event last month.
