Viewers of Great Celebrity Bake Off were left furious after Channel 4 aired a repeat of last year’s match on Sunday.
Last week, the latest series, in support of Stand Up To Cancer, came to an end with Dragons Den’s Deborah Meaden crowned star baker.
But on Sunday, as stars Emma Willis, Alex Horne, Blake Harrison and Clara Amfo all entered the marquee, viewers got a distinct sense of déjà vu.
On Twitter, one wrote, “Ah man, it’s a replay!” while another wrote, “If @Channel4 sneaks a rerun of Bake Off from the previous series…”
An unsure viewer asked, “Is this bakeoff a rerun?” only for a fellow disgruntled fan to reply, “Yeah… it ran out last year.”

Matt replied, “They don’t just remind me of elephants,” as Emma said they would once she’d put the finishing touches on.
She said, “Once I look at it, it will look like an elephant.”
And some viewers were quick to comment on the unique cookies.
