The GMB team set up Susanna Reid for ANOTHER awkward mistake

Susanna Reid was let down once again by the Good Morning Britain TV crew, after she was set up to make another embarrassing mistake live on air.

This comes just days after she was said to have been “furious” when a series of mistakes were made on the show.

But unfortunately for Susanna, the saga continues after they started this week in a similar vein.

A voiceover advert read: “You are watching Good Morning Britain on Friday 3rd February.” However, it was Monday the sixth.

This time, a bewildered Susanna, 52, and co-host Ben Shephard, 48, were able to laugh at the calendar error.

No again! Susanna Reid was let down once again by the Good Morning Britain TV crew, after she was set up to make another embarrassing mistake live on air.

But the bug has reportedly added to fears among executives that embarrassing bugs will continue to happen.

A show insider said Sun: ‘Susanna and Ben were stunned, especially after last week’s mishaps.

“Mistaking up the date of the show is pretty poor by anyone’s standards – it was the worst possible start to the week. She let this go, with a few eye rolls, but they keep happening.

Another said: ‘It’s actually very sad, the production team seems totally incapable. They just seem overwhelmed.

Last week, the broadcaster allegedly “made its feelings very clear” and clashed with top executives after a series of blunders made its way to the live broadcast.

Misspellings, incorrect dates, and incorrect graphic designs have crept in during the show’s live broadcasts in recent weeks, leaving the host reportedly embarrassed.

Among the errors was an incident in which news correspondent Ben Chapman’s name was misspelled during his live broadcast from Romania.

As Ranvir Singh introduced the segment, he introduced Ben for his section, with his name appearing on screen as ‘Ben Champan’.

In another incident, GMB aired a segment paying tribute to the death of Lisa Marie Presley, with the word “remember” also misspelled on the screen, as the graphic read: “Remember.”

And that was not all, since one morning Susanna was presenting the program with a wrong date.

said a source Sun: ‘He made his feelings very clear and confronted senior executives about it.

Furious? And it seems that was some needed encouragement, after the presenter was said to have been furious earlier this week following a series of embarrassing blunders on GMB.

“Susanna is totally professional and just wants high standards, just like Piers or any other presenter would have.

“The last thing anyone wants is for her to walk away in a huff.”

Susanna doesn’t appear to be the only one aggravated by the bugs, as some viewers took to Twitter during live morning shows to highlight GMB’s bugs.

Calling up a poster he had made for rugby player Levi Simeon Davis, who went missing in October 2022, many noticed that the wrong year was printed on the graphic.

“@gmb your poster for Levi’s disappearance has the wrong date, it says October 2023,” he wrote in the viewer.

While another advised: “Your poster shown on the news this morning for the missing man is incorrect, please check the date it is displayed, October 2023 #GMB.”

Meanwhile, Susanna was in a better mood last Friday when she celebrated Good Morning Britain’s ‘fantastic’ viewing figures.

He took to Twitter to share his delight that the breakfast news show has hit its highest numbers since June 2021.

Susanna’s on-air fights

While Susanna is often praised for keeping her composure during live broadcasts, there have been incidents where she has let her emotions out in the past.

Earlier in the week, Susanna launched a vicious attack on former Health Secretary Matt Hancock.

The host asked him if his affair with deputy Gina Coladangelo in fact violated the law and continued to question him about lockdown laws at the time while trying to change the subject.

She was praised by viewers who took to Twitter to call the interview a “master class” for any aspiring political journalist.

In November, Susanna launched a withering attack on a Just Stop Oil spokesperson this morning after the group stopped traffic on the M25 again by climbing onto gantries at multiple junctions.

When the group’s spokesperson claimed that the media was not reporting the events effectively, Susanna launched into an impassioned tirade, telling him: ‘You have no idea what this show is doing… And you have the audacity to come here. and say that we are completely distracted and we are not talking about the problems?

We talk about them every morning, son.

In 2021, Susanna was unimpressed when her co-host at the time, Alastair Campbell, told her to “feel your wrinkled apples” during an impassioned tirade about a shoddy Ocado installment.

Susanna didn’t seem amused when the former Labor press strategist ranted about the state of his fruit, which the grocery company blamed on a shortage of pickers, truckers and CO2.

The host was also famous for her hilarious run-ins with former co-host Piers Morgan, with the pair disagreeing on numerous occasions.
