The final trailer for Killers of the Flower Moon is here, and I could not be more ready for this Scorsese epic

Apple just unveiled what they’re calling the “final” trailer Killers of the Flower Moon, the next film from director Martin Scorsese, coming to Apple TV Plus, albeit only after its theatrical release and without a confirmed date. This trailer is all about Leonardo DiCaprio’s performance, which has received rave reviews from the previews, and also includes some of those articles about the film itself and what a masterpiece we’re about to see. And now that we have three trailers, I’m not going to argue with any of them.

The first Killers of the Flower Moon trailer had several light-hearted moments that made it feel like it would be more of a match Casino then something like that Gangs of New York from Scorsese’s oeuvre. The second trailer took a darker turn and focused on the pain, sadness and drama of the film.

This one seems to be a bit balanced, with some big moments of drama and some fun lines. My conclusion from this is mainly that Leo really tends to give an impression of Robert De Nero, who plays his uncle in the film. The attitude and mannerisms here are very similar to what we’ve seen from De Nero in other trailers (and, to be fair, most of his recent work. The man has his own style).

Normally I’m not really a Scorsese guy – the man undoubtedly makes exceptional films, but they’re not quite on my wavelength (now Michael Mann – that is my wavelength). But I couldn’t be interested in everything anymore Killer of the Flower Moon trailers have been set up. My theater tickets have been booked for a while and my Apple TV Plus subscription is ready for revisiting when it joins the ranks of the best Apple TV Plus movies.

If you haven’t seen them yet, here are the first two trailers:
