The far-right German ‘porn star’ who broke into Mar-a-Lago and took a photo with Trump
A far-right German politician accused of appearing in pornographic films scored a photo op with Donald Trump on Election Day.
The Daily Beast on Tuesday identified 41-year-old Phillipp-Anders Rau as Trump’s guest at Mar-a-Lago as the Republican candidate was cruising to victory.
“It will be an eternal memory to be able to shake hands with @realdonaldtrump there as the only AfD member on the day of his victory,” Rau posted on Instagram. “Let’s hope that Donald Trump creates for his country the renewal that we in the AfD are planning for our country.”
Rau is running for a seat in the German parliament as part of the Alternative for Germany party, a far-right, anti-immigrant party that German intelligence has labeled a “suspected extremist” organization.
Last year, several high-ranking members of the AfD were brought out to meet with neo-Nazis on the subject of mass deportations.
The Secret Service told The Daily Beast that Rau — who denies appearing in pornographic films — was allowed to have close contact with Trump because he was an invited guest at the members-only club in Florida.
“In this case, this individual was physically screened and allowed in because he was on a formal invitation,” a Secret Service spokesperson told the publication, adding that Mar-a-Lago “is a private club open to members and their guests.’
The Secret Service did not say who invited Rau, and a Trump transition spokesperson did not respond to DailyMail.com’s inquiry on the matter.

Rau did not respond to the Daily Beast’s request for comment.
On Election Day, Rau was joined at Mar-a-Lago by Leonard Jäger, a far-right influencer who has expressed homophobic views, promoted Covid-19 conspiracy theories and endorsed the Reichsbürger movement, whose members reject the legitimacy of the modern German state . .
The Secret Service spokesperson added that the Secret Service “ensures that all individuals who enter a protected facility do not pose a security risk.”
But that doesn’t mean guys can’t do political pain to the new president.
Over Thanksgiving in 2022, Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes — who has since gone viral with a “your body, my choice” misogynistic rant after Trump won reelection — and anti-Semitic rapper Kanye West dined with Trump at Mar-a-Lago.
It was West who brought Fuentes to the club.
That caused major headaches for the Trump campaign, as Trump had announced his 2024 re-election bid the week before.
“Trump was very impressed, but Trump didn’t know who he was,” a source told NBC of Trump’s meeting with Fuentes at the time.
Phillipp-Anders Rau (second from left) also posted a photo of now President-elect Donald Trump with some Germans at his Mar-a-Lago club on Election Day
In a Truth Social post, Trump clarified that he “didn’t know” Fuentes and that he had spoken to West about dealings with the rapper “did not express anti-Semitism.”
Rau is not as prominent a figure as Fuentes in the US, but he has made waves in Germany thanks to explosive reporting from the regional newspaper Volksstimme, the Daily Beast reports.
In August, Rau denied starring in pornographic films.
‘I’ve never made professional videos before (…). I am neither a virgin nor a porn star,” Rau said.
Weeks later, Volksstimme confirmed that there were publicly available adult films featuring the German politician.
In turn, Rau tried to sue the publication, but a German court ruled in the newspaper’s favor, saying the AfD member “cannot rely on the fundamental protection of privacy” because “he took part in a professional porn video recording that was clearly intended for publication. ‘
Volksstimme also reported that Rau was expelled from East Germany’s Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences in 2015 for promoting his high school grades.
When Rau tried to fight the deportation, his lawyer argued that he could not be held responsible for his decisions during this period because he was addicted to cocaine.
He was also previously convicted of theft for stealing approximately $1,590 worth of items from a hotel.
Additionally, Rau is currently undergoing bankruptcy proceedings, according to The Beast.
