The Fall Guy represents their first film together, an adaptation of the beloved TV series of the same name starring Lee Majors.

That show – created by Glen A. Larson (Battlestar Galactica, Knight Rider) – followed Hollywood stuntman Colt Seavers (Majors), who moonlights as a bounty hunter.

The film takes a different approach and follows Seavers (Gosling), still a Hollywood stuntman, but one who pines for his ex, an up-and-coming director (Blunt).

“They love him so much and actually, my oldest, it’s the first movie she’s shown any interest in, and it has nothing to do with me,” Blunt said.
