The Eurovision Song Contest should have a Palestinian participant | Short letters

Creative Community for Peace, which opposes a cultural boycott, states that “unifying events such as singing competitions are crucial to helping bridge our cultural differences” (Gene Simmons, Helen Mirren and Boy George sign open letter in support of Israel’s inclusion at the Eurovision Song Contest, February 15). If that is the case, the Eurovision Song Contest should also include a Palestinian participant; If not, we will draw the obvious conclusion.

In Lewisham we also have beautiful work by William Mitchell (London mural by an important post-war artist threatened with demolition, February 15). Our two outdoor murals are in need of restoration as they have been exposed to the elements for over 60 years, and we are in the process of fundraising. To help, email Foxboroughtra@gmail.com
