Alison Hammond’s landscape gardener friend is reportedly a “changed man” after he was allegedly previously arrested on two separate occasions for drug offences.
It comes after it emerged that This Morning presenter Alison, 48, was in a “secret relationship” with the worker, named Ben Hawkins.
The former Big Brother star’s green-fingered friend Alison has reportedly been jailed for driving under the influence of cocaine and selling cannabis.
According sun on sundaySources say that Ben was also sent to prison for attacking a taxi driver.
One told the publication: ‘Ben was full of bravado and quite cheeky. He is in a much happier place now.

Alison is said to have employed the burly laborer to tend the allotment at her West Midlands home two years ago, and the pair were on good terms at the time.
According SunAlison, who will host the Baftas with actor Richard E. Grant this Sunday, was seen arriving at Ben’s family home on Monday around 10:30am.
The newspaper claims that Alison remained in her silver Mercedes while Ben entered the property, with the TV star joining him a few minutes later.
It is claimed that they were later seen together again on Valentine’s Day.
A friend told the publication: “They love to hang out and have gone out to eat and to the pub.”
Both are down to earth and get along like a house on fire.
“She makes him laugh and Alison thinks it’s cute that she still lives with her parents.”

At that point, Dermot told Alison, ‘You’re not available anymore, but if you were, whoa!
Alison replied, ‘What do you mean I’m not available? I’m available!’
After the hosts went back and forth discussing their relationship status, Alison quipped, “Is there someone in my life?”, to which Dermot commented, “I think so!”
A beaming Alison then joked that her co-host had “told everyone”.
The duo then burst out laughing before Alison told ITV viewers: “I’ve got someone guys, I’m off the market, I’m so sorry guys!”
The following month, former reality star Alison revealed that she was happier than ever with her secret boyfriend.

It comes after it was announced that Alison would host the Bafta Studio, an immersive, all-access experience, during the Baftas this weekend.
The 76th annual film awards ceremony will take place on Sunday at the Southbank Center’s Royal Festival Hall, with actor Richard E. Grant, 65, hosting the show.
Alison said her “dream job” had come true as her part of the BBC One show will be about “glitter and glamour” behind the scenes and gossip.
